What is Hibuki therapy?
Hibuki (My Hug) is an evidence-based therapeutic intervention that empowers traumatized children to heal by caring for a specially designed sad puppy doll.\n\nBy comforting the doll, the child projects their own feelings onto it, shifting their role from a passive victim to an active caregiver. This unique process helps children process pain, reduces PTSD symptoms, and builds long-term resilience.
Who can benefit from this?
Children who have experienced traumatic events (war, displacement, terror, accidents, abuse, loss), and the caregivers/therapists supporting them, can benefit from Hibuki's structured, comforting process.

What is included in the Hibuki therapeutic intervention?
Each intervention is designed as a comprehensive clinical protocol to support a child’s recovery. This includes the physical Hibuki therapy doll, an official clinical guidebook for the child, three intensive one-on-one sessions with a specialized trauma psychologist, and a dedicated guidance session to equip parents with essential coping tools. Our goal is to provide this complete envelope of care to 15,000 children affected by the events of October 7th.
